Two children are settling in for a delicious sleep, when. . .bzzzzzz. . .a mosquito flies into their room.

There's nowhere to hide, there's no way to get rid of the buzzing mosquito. Finally the children jump out of their window and run outside to seek help, but the monkey, the snake and the crocodile are all sound asleep. Deep in the jungle the children find an owl, who offers to fly them home. And there on the windowsill sits frog who definitively solves the mosquito problem. At last, the children can snuggle down into their beds for their delicious sleep.

Poetically written and brillantly illustrated, this is a universal story that any child who has tried to sleep while being tormented by a mosquito will recognize. The dynamic scratchboard illustrations seem to vibrate on the page in this charming bedtime book.
