Diana Athill, legendary editor and author of Life Class, came to our office for afternoon tea while in town for her IFOA PEN Canada event with Alice Munro. That’s right, people — we had tea with Diana Athill. No big deal or anything, but the woman is a full-out legend. She’s also funny, sharp, and up for all kinds of new adventures. At the age of 92, she was still game for visiting Niagara Falls, lunching about town, and doing plenty of interviews. I think I speak for all of us here at House of Anansi when I say, “Diana, I want to be like you when I grow up!”
