As our physical bookshop is closed to the public, gift wrapping is not available at this time.

If you receive a damaged book, or the wrong book, or if a book that was meant to be in your order is missing, please let us know. We ask that you alert us within 10 business days of receipt. Phone us at (416) 363 4343 ext. 248 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org describing the problem and including also your name and address, and your order number. We will get back to you as soon as possible.

Shipping Procedure and Options
We normally ship from our office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, within 48 hours of receiving your order. Orders can only be shipped on business days so the above order processing guideline does not apply to holidays. At times of exceptionally high volume we may take longer than 48 hours to process orders, up to 5 business days.
Shipping costs and delivery timeframes are based on weight of parcel, destination, and shipping method chosen. When you place an order, we will offer you a selection of delivery options each with the associated shipping cost calculated on the weight of parcel, the destination, and the expected delivery date range. When you confirm your order, the shipping cost you choose will be added to your order.
Free Shipping Option
If your order is to be sent within Canada and the total comes to CAD $35.00 or more (after any discounts or coupons, and before taxes), then you may choose “Free Shipping” as your shipping method at checkout.
Please note that Free Shipping applies only to orders to be shipped within Canada via the Canada Post Regular Parcel method.
We sell eBooks in the following formats:
- EPUB (for Apple iPad/iBooks, Nook, Sony Reader, Kobo, and most e-reading apps including Stanza, Bluefire, Aldiko, Adobe Digital Editions, others)
- MOBI (for all Kindle devices and Kindle apps)
- PDF (for PC or Mac, Apple iBooks, e-reading apps including Stanza, Bluefire, Aldiko, Adobe Digital Editions, others)
The eBooks that we sell do not have DRM (digital rights management) software applied. This allows you to enjoy reading the eBook on your computer or on your personal e-reading device.
Once you complete your purchase of an eBook, you can download the eBook directly to your computer, or directly to your e-reading device if it is attached to your computer (via USB or other cable), right from the link in your order confirmation email. You can use this link to download the eBook to other e-reading devices that you own if you so wish, to a limit of 3 downloads per individual eBook purchase. We sell eBooks to end-user customers only. When you purchase an eBook from us it is for your own personal use, and not for resale or lending out. You may transfer the eBook to any of your devices, or print it for your own personal use.
All Anansi and Groundwood eBooks are protected by international copyright law. It is illegal to post the eBook on any network or any file sharing website, or make it publicly available in any way. Please respect copyright law. Thank you.
