We are saddened to hear of the passing of Harold R. Johnson, a warm and thoughtful man who brought many good and lasting things to us as one of his publishers, and who brought enlightenment and enjoyment to his readers far and wide.

 

Harold did not simply push the boundaries of literature, he re-wrote them. He wrote stories of reimagination and alternate futures, of light and exploration. It was a true pleasure to work with him and to be a part of bringing his books to the world.

 

The legacy of his fine work will live on. Harold was a valued colleague and friend, and we will miss him greatly.
